Salesperson


Flexxifinger QD Industries Inc. – an innovative, award-winning agricultural manufacturer based in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan - currently has an opening for a salesperson to actively market our full line of crop lifters, accessories and specialized harvest and seeding products. The successful candidate will be excited and challenged about being involved in a growing company, will be self-managed and will follow through with results. A willingness to travel extensively is a must.
 
Major Responsibilities
 
  • Report to and consult with the general manager.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with both new and existing dealers.
  • Coordinate, travel to, set up and attend numerous agricultural trade shows.
  • Participate in the training of dealers and distributors.
  • Contribute as a member of the inside sales team.
  • Implement and promote various seasonal sales programs.
 
Employment requirements
 
  • The ideal candidate will be familiar with farming practices.
  • Must be bondable, able and willing to obtain a passport and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Is an effective and diplomatic communicator.
  • Has good computer skills.

Administrative Assistant


Flexxifinger QD Industries Inc. – an innovative, award-winning agricultural manufacturer based in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan - is presently seeking a reliable, organized Administrative Assistant to assist in the day-to-day administrative aspects of a business.
We offer competitive wages and benefits package and maintain a positive and safety conscious work environment, value our employees and their families, and encourage their ideas.
This position may include some overtime as well as occasional weekend work.
 
Duties

  • Prepare, review, and/ or edit various government reports.
  • Determine, establish and update office policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and/or escalate office administration issues.
  • Complete office orientation, office space and technology set up for new office hires.
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents.
  • Prepare travel schedules and book travel arrangements for senior management.
  • Maintain and monitor office supply inventory levels;

 
 
Employment Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years experience in an administrative capacity
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
  • Strong organizational ability.
